Blake Mooney is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor who specializes in research supported treatments for anxiety, depressive, mood, and behavioral disorders. Blake has experience working in a variety of clinical and school settings providing individual, family, and group therapies to children, adolescents, young adults, adults, parents, and families. Blake has intensive training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). Additionally, she is trained in Parent-Child Interaction Therapy for Selective Mutism (PCIT-SM), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Exposure and Response Prevention (E/RP), and Trauma & Prolonged Exposure Therapy (PE).
Blake earned her bachelor’s degree from Northwestern University with a major in Human Development and Psychological Services, where she also played for the lacrosse team and won the National Championship in 2012. She holds a dual Master’s degree in Counseling & Mental Health Services (M.S.Ed) and Professional Counseling (M.Phil.Ed) from The University of Pennsylvania. Prior to becoming a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Blake was a Corps Member of Teach for America as a 5th grade teacher and earned her elementary teaching certification from The University of Pennsylvania.
